How it started?

Scrapp began in a University of New Hampshire dorm room with a simple question: "Why is recycling so confusing?"

What started as a barcode-scanning app helping students recycle correctly has evolved into something much bigger. We realized that if individuals struggled with proper disposal, imagine the challenges facing entire organizations managing thousands of products.

Today's digital world runs on data, but waste management was stuck in the dark ages. We saw an opportunity to bridge that gap - creating the data infrastructure needed for a circular economy where nothing is wasted.
